Teen Riding Electric Bicycle Struck By Unlicensed Driver In North Bellport: Police
The driver was issued a citation, Suffolk police say.
NORTH BELLPORT, NY — An unlicensed driver was behind the wheel of a car that struck a teenager riding an electric bicycle in North Bellport on Saturday afternoon, Suffolk police said.
A 28-year-old North Bellport woman was driving a 2026 Kia sedan at the intersection of Brookhaven and Meade Avenues. when it collided with an electric bicycle operated by a 16-year-old North Bellport boy, according to police.
The teen was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The woman was issued citations for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, according to police.
