Town Animal Shelter Waiving Fee For Some Pets For Valentine's Day

BROOKHAVEN, NY — In the spirit of love this Valentine's Day, the town of Brookhaven Animal Shelter will be waiving the adoption fee for certain dogs and cats up for adoption.

All during the month of February, the fees of $137 for a dog and $140 for a cat will be waived for any pet that has been at the shelter for six months or more.

Discounted adoptions include free neuter or spay, vaccinations, microchip, license, heartworm test, flea and fecal.

The shelter is located on 300 Horseblock Road in Brookhaven and is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
