Town Of Brookhaven Animal Shelter Offering Discounted Adoptions
The shelter will be doing a special "Thankful for a Second Chance" event next week.
TOWN OF BROOKHAVEN, NY - As part of a special "Thankful for a Second Chance" event, the Town of Brookhaven animal shelter will be reducing the adoption fee for dogs and cats next week.
The event will take place between Tuesday, Nov. 19 and Monday, Nov. 25. During that time the normal adoption fees of $137 for a dog and $140 for a cat will be reduced to $65.
Discounted adoptions include free neuter or spay, vaccinations, microchip, license, heartworm test, flea and fecal.

Residents can check out the pets up for adoption at 300 Horseblock Road in Brookhaven. It is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
