The fire started just after 7 p.m. and spread to eight boats at Patchogue Shores Marina, News 12 <a href="http://longisland.news12.com/news/flames-engulf-several-boats-in-patchogue-1.12186271" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">reported</a>. Firefighters returned to the scene around 2:36 a.m. Wednesday when the fire rekindled, <a href="http://www.newsday.com/long-island/suffolk/police-firefighters-respond-to-east-patchogue-boat-blaze-1.12187430" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Newsday reported</a>.
