Welcome Back Students Night Set for Tues. 1/26

Patchogue, NY| The St. Joseph’s College (L.I.) women’s and men’s basketball teams will host “Welcome Back Students Night” on Tuesday, January 26, which will feature a basketball doubleheader, contests and prizes. The event will take place inside the Danzi Athletic Center and will kick-off with the start of the women’s basketball game at 6:00 PM.

The theme of the night is “Be Bold in Gold,” and during the course of the evening, students who wear gold and sit in the student section will receive free giveaways. At the end of each game students and fans alike will have the opportunity to win a 50-inch HDTV and an iPad Mini. Entry into the contests will be free for students with valid SJC ID and $2.00 or $5.00 for the general public.

In addition, there will be social media contests in which students are encouraged to tweet selfies of themselves at the @GoldenEaglesSJC Twitter account with the hashtag #SJCBoldinGold for chances to win gift cards to local restaurants.

There will be performances by the SJC Dance Team, and free popcorn and Body Armor Sports Drink will be available for attendees. Admission is free and the event is open to students, faculty, staff and the general public.
