Woman Dies After Being Found Injured In Vehicle At Suffolk Gas Station: Police
She was found injured and unresponsive in the vehicle at the gas station — and the cause is believed to be criminal, police say.
YAPHANK, NY — A woman was found injured in a vehicle at a Yaphank gas station early Saturday morning and later died — and police said they believe her cause of death was criminal.
According to Suffolk County police, homicide squad detectives are investigating the incident, which took place at about 7:25 a.m. Juliann Bachmann, 30, was located injured and unresponsive, in a vehicle at the Speedway gas station, located on Horseblock Road, police said.
Bachmann was transported to NYU Langone Hospital – Suffolk in Patchogue, where she was pronounced dead, police said.

Following a preliminary investigation, detectives believe the cause of death to be criminal, police said.
