1-Car Crash On The MCB Leads To DWI Charge
New York State police said she was uninjured.
ORANGETOWN, NY — A one-car motor vehicle accident on I-87 on the Mario Cuomo Bridge at 6:30 p.m. Sunday resulted in a DWI charge for the driver, who was uninjured, police said.
Responding police judged that Portia S. Patterson, 26, of New Windsor, NY, was intoxicated.
Patterson was taken into custody, transported and processed at State police barracks in Tarrytown, where her blood alcohol content was determined to be .22%, police said.

Patterson was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated; an Unclassified Misdemeanor and Vehicle and Traffic Violations.
She was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Orangetown Court on July 17.
