Accused Pearl River Shoplifter Also Faces Drug Charge
Police were called to the Shoprite on North Middletown Road on Tuesday.

PEARL RIVER, NY — Kristen M. Decker is due in Orangetown Town Court Oct. 10. She faces charges of petty larceny and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, both misdemeanors.
Orangetown police responded to the Shoprite on North Middletown Road after getting a report of a shoplifter at 5:42 p.m. Tuesday. Store staff alleged Decker left without paying for items worth $80.06.
Police said when they placed her in custody they found packets of heroin.
