Act Now For Free Tuition to RCC

Excelsior Scholarship applications for Rockland Community College are open until December 4th.

PEARL RIVER, NY - From Rockland Community College: If you will be a full-time student at Rockland Community College in the spring of 2018, you may be eligible for free college tuition. The New York State Excelsior Scholarship program is once again accepting applications, from now through December 4.

This new application window is open to students who will be starting college at RCC in the Spring semester as well as transfer students. Students who began classes this Fall but did not apply for the Excelsior Scholarship in the previous cycle are also eligible. All applicants must be New York State residents and meet other eligibility guidelines.

Students currently receiving the Excelsior Scholarship do not need to apply in this cycle. About 160 RCC students were declared eligible for the Excelsior Scholarship after the initial round of applications this past summer.
