• $350K Awarded to Rockland Organizations (rocklandnews.com) — State Assemblyman Aron Wieder recently brought $350,000 in state funding to Rockland County organizations, announcing the grants from his district office in Pearl River. The money supports public safety, emergency response, schools, youth programs and family services in Ramapo and Orangetown, including local police, fire, ambulance corps, East Ramapo schools, and several community nonprofits that directly assist area residents.
