The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for support of the Pastor to help them stay organized and complete tasks that allow them to focus on more pastoral responsibilities. Their duties will include organizing meetings, greeting office visitors, phone calls and composing documents on behalf of the Pastor.

Essential Functions:
Call and make appointments
Schedule meetings
Manage Pastor’s calendar
Manage office from 9:00-12:00 Monday through Thursday
Answer phones

Other Responsibilities:
Attend weekly meetings with Pastor
Attend bi-monthly staff meetings

Minimum Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, and Publisher. Experience using Church Windows or similar program is preferred.
Minimum two years as an administrative assistant
Proficient in all forms of communication – written and verbal

Flexible
Ability to self-manage

Physical Requirements:
Able to move freely in and around church premises, including stairs
