A Call for a "NO" Vote in the School Bond

Like many residents of Clarkstown, I’m voting a resounding “ NO” on the School Board’s request for a $36 million bond issuance to pay for school projects. I don’t trust the school board or its President and don’t believe the repairs are critical to the school facilities. The Board lied to local residents about the use of a repaired Congers Elementary School and feel they are not telling residents the whole story about this bond. Property taxes will definitely increase with this bond and spending is out of control in the Clarkstown School District . Come out on Dec 10th and tell the School Board that you don’t trust them with your money.
