Center for Safety & Change to Facilitate Free, Confidential Support Group for Survivors of Sexual Assault

The Center for Safety & Change will hold a 10 week support group for survivors of sexual assault and rape beginning Monday, October 6th at the Center for Safety & Change’s office in New City, N.Y. The group will meet each Monday evening from 6:30-8:00pm through December 15th.

According to the Centers for Disease Control, nearly 1 in 5 women have reported experiencing rape at some time in their lives. This support group is specifically created for participants to be able to join other survivors in a safe space to share, heal and thrive together. The group is confidential and professionally facilitated. A pre-screening is required.
