Chestnut Ridge Man's Death is a Homicide, Say Bergen County Officials

Bergen County officials are investigating the death of Chestnut Ridge resident Richard Zarriello.

Zarriello was found Sunday mortally wounded at his South Hackensack business, the Clean Sweep Chimney Shop.

Zarriello’s mother-in-law told the Bergen Record evening that police found him after the family had called asking them to check the business. He was on the floor, shot, with a cash register on the floor nearby.
