Cops: Woman Tried to Buy Cellphones in Pearl River with Phony ID

She's from Long Island.

Orangetown police arrested Michele Raynor of Patchogue, NY April 1 after responding to a call from a phone store at 89 N, Middletown Road.

Police said the 41-year-old is accused of trying to buy several cellphones valued at more than $2,500. They allege she was using a fraudulent driver's license.

She was sent to the Rockland County Jail on $10,000 bail and is due in Orangetown Justice Court April 5.
