The field hockey season ended in Pirate Nation as Pearl River fell to second seeded Lakeland yesterday 9-0.
Other Pirate teams will be back in action tonight as the football team will play at Somers and Pearl River’s girl’s soccer team will in a Section 1 Class A quarterfinal.

The Falcons are also in action as Albertus Magnus and Westlake’s girl’s soccer teams will meet up at Harrison High School.

Game: Pearl River @ Lakeland
Score: Lakeland Won 9-0
Highlights: Pearl River goaltender Adrienne Ammirati had her work cut out for her against Lakeland, with over thirty shots on goal, Ammirati was able to save 24 of them in the loss to the two-time defending state champions. Shannon Scavelli led Lakeland with four goals.

In football, Somers and Pearl River face off at Somers in a DeMatteo Bowl game at 4:15 p.m.
In girl’s soccer, (5) Byram Hills @ (4) Pearl River at 2 p.m. at the Orangetown Mighty Midget Complex in Orangeburg.
In girl’s soccer, (14) Albertus Magnus @ (11) Westlake at 7 p.m. The Game will be played at Harrison High School.
