Daily Sports Digest: Pearl River Boys Soccer Plays Lakeland Today at OMM Complex

While the trick or treaters were out in full force last night the section and local high schools were busy trying to figure out a way to get all the playoff games in.

With several schools around the Hudson Valley still without power from the weekend’s storm, it is presenting a challenge for athletic teams everywhere to find places to practice and play.

The Pearl River boys soccer team's home playoff game against Lakeland today was moved to the Orangetown Mighty Midgets Complex in Orangeburg because Pearl River's field is still unplayable.

The Pearl River Field Hockey team will play at Lakeland at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Below is the tentative schedule for today’s events but please check with the Pearl River and Albertus Magnus school districts before heading out to any of the games as the section and schools have already pushed several contests back.

Today’s Schedule:

In boy’s soccer, (7) Lakeland @ (2) Pearl River, 2 p.m. at Orangetown Mighty Midgets Sports Complex. The Pearl River Athletic Office confirmed the site and time as of 10 a.m. this morning. For a preview of the game featuring the Pearl River defense, go here.

In volleyball, (5) Albertus Magnus at (4) Keio at 4:30 p.m.
