DePrisco Unopposed In Run To Retain Pearl River BOE Seat

No other candidates will be running for the one vacant seat on the Pearl River Board of Education in the May 17 election.

Thomas DePrisco will run unopposed to retain his seat on the Pearl River Board of Education.

Interested candidates had to turn in a petition to be put on the ballot by 5 p.m. Monday, but no others turned one in by the deadline, so DePrisco will be the only person on the ballot May 17.

DePrisco is currently in his first term on the Pearl River Board of Education. His seat is the only one up for election this year. DePrisco is a retired NYPD captain and a former teacher in the New York City public schools.
