Ricks Club American in Congers has joined the short list of venues that recognize that karaoke can be VERY ENTERTAINING to watch and participate in when it is presented properly (good sound mixing, fast pace, a host with personality, live music videos with many of the songs on a BIG LIST!). Join your host Weird Al Yankovic look-alike Gary Evans. Blown in by Super Storm Sandy, his Jersey Shore base got wiped out, and he's looking to bring back GOOD karaoke to Rockland County and vicinity. Sadly, many have NEVER seen a karaoke show run right. Try it! Don't forget to watch Gary's TV show on Ch 118 on CABLEVISION in Rockland County only on Saturdays during GOLF (1:30 to 4:30 pm) every Saturday. His clips featuring performances by people IN this area, FROM this area, and some going back 2 years to the beginning of this new form of entertainment are absolutely more entertaining than golf golf golf.
