Dominican College Student Arrested Over Loaded Shotgun

It was found as part of a joint investigation with Orangetown and Ramapo, police allege.

BLAUVELT, NY — A Dominican College student faces a charge of criminal possession of a weapon on school grounds. Orangetown police were assisting Ramapo detectives on an investigation that led to the discovery of a loaded 12-gauge shotgun in the trunk of his car on the college campus.

Alexander Corbin, 24, was arraigned and sent to the Rockland County Jail Aug. 29. Bail was set at $10,000 cash.
