Donate Used Clothing, Textiles and Toys for Pearl River PTA Fundraising Drive
The drive is Oct. 24-25.

The Pearl River School District’s PTAs are again partnering with I Donate Goods to hold their used clothing, textiles and toy fundraising drive.
Anyone and everyone is invited to bring clean, used clothing, linens, stuffed animals and toys to the Pearl River High School Pirate Cove on Friday, Oct. 24, between 3 and 6 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 25, between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m.
I Donate Goods will give the PTAs 16 cents per pound for items donated, plus another $100 bonus for every 5,000 pounds. The recycling company then sorts and packs the items into shipping containers to be sold to those in need, domestically and overseas.

Acceptable items for the drive include usable and wearable men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, shoes, belts, handbags, linens, sheets, blankets, stuffed animals and toys that are intact with all pieces together. Clothing and linens should be washed and packed into large plastic bags with ties. Pearl River High School is located at 275 East Central Avenue. The Pirate Cove is located near the gym/cafeteria entrance around the back of the building.
The proceeds will be divided among the district’s six PTAs: Evans Park Elementary School, Franklin Avenue Elementary School, Lincoln Avenue Elementary School, Pearl River Middle School, Pearl River High School, and the Special Education PTA. Funds raised this year will continue to be used to support school programs.
