Drug Charges for Two

Orangetown police said they were stopped June 11 on Lark Street in Pearl River.

Connor Gorman of New CIty and Julie Mendelowitz, Wood Ridge NJ are due in court July 8 to answer drug charges.

The two were stopped by police in Pearl River at 1:11 a.m. June 11. Gorman, who was driving, was found to be in possession of heroin and cocaine, and she was in possession of heroin, police allege.

Gorman was charged with four counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Mendelowitz faces one.
