Asleep At The Wheel: DWI in Blauvelt

Police allege the car was running.

BLAUVELT, NY — A Blauvelt resident faces a DWI charge in Orangetown town court. Orangetown police said they found the 63-year-old asleep at the wheel of a running car in a traffic lane on Erie Street Jan. 18.

Elizabeth Pantolfelli refused to submit to a breathalyzer test, police said.

She was charged with the misdemeanor and released. She is due in court Feb. 6.
