The Historical Society of Rockland County to present film debut about secret WWII ‘Ghost Army’ & Swing Band concert to Celebrate the Greatest Generation

 The Historical Society of Rockland County presents an exclusive film presentation and Big Band Swing Concert celebrating our World War II veterans – “The Greatest Generation” on Sunday, September 18, 2011 at 3 p.m. at the Historic Lafayette Theater 97 Lafayette Avenue, Suffern, NY. 

The program will feature an advance screening of the rough cut for the new documentary by filmmaker, Rick Beyer: "The Ghost Army" patriotic music by the Chorus of the Tappan Zee and Jeff Barker on Mighty Wurlitzer organ with special guest, The Stan Rubin Swing Era Big Band and a salute to Rockland County WW II Ghost Army veterans Bill Sayles and Ned Harris.
