On October 6, 2012, from 12-6pm at the James H. Anderson American Legion, Post 1199, we will once again be hosting the “Friends & Family Charity BBQ Festival” to help make a difference for a vital charity in our community. Last year we raised $6,000 in recognition of the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Hudson Valley, and this year we hope to again demonstrate the kindness and generosity of our community by supporting Feeding America – Food Bank of the Hudson Valley, an organization dedicated to alleviating hunger.
The "Friends & Family Charity Barbecue" is a fun-filled day for kids and adults. Barbeque and beverages will be served as our guests enjoy live music and a variety of family-friendly activities, including a rib competition amongst local amateur cooks. Purchase tickets today to this great event filled with food, fun and fierce competition!
ALL proceeds will go to the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley.
