Felony DWI Charge for Driver in Orangeburg
Orangetown police said the Tappan resident had been convicted for DWI in 2013.
A Tappan woman faces a felony drunken driving charge in Orangeburg.
Orangetown police said they stopped Valerie M. Popov for speeding on Veterans Memorial Drive at 2:45 a.m. Feb. 15. Police said the 32-year-old failed field sobriety tests and refused to take a chemical breath test for alcohol.
Popov had a previous DWI conviction in 2013, police said. She is due in Orangetown Town Court March 15.
