Fight Outside Pearl River Bar Injures Off-Duty Officer: Report
The victim is a member of the NYPD, according to the Daily News.
PEARL RIVER, NY — A man who was jumped and robbed outside a Pearl River bar early Tuesday is an officer in the NYPD, the Daily News reported. John Joyce was taken to Nyack Hospital afterward with a fractured eye socket, the paper said.
The assailants also took the off-duty officer's sneakers, according to the Daily News.
