Fugitive from Justice Arrested for Felony DWI

The Nanuet resident was found slumped over the wheel at a Blauvelt intersection.

Orangetown police found Harry T. Lusk at 9:30 p.m. Feb. 6 slumped over the steering wheel of a car idling at the intersection of Route 303 and Bradley Parkway in Blauvelt.

After the Nanuet resident failed sobriety tests, police arrested him and took him to headquarters, where a breath analysis revealed his blood alcohol level was more than double the legal limit for drivers, police said.

Lusk was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, a felony.

A check revealed the 58-year-old was wanted in Hunterdon County, NJ as a fugitive from justice. He was sent to Rockland County Jail to await extradition.
