Gary Siepser to Lead Rockland Federation

He'll be Chief Executive Officer of the JFRC.

The Jewish Federation of Rockland County announces the appointment of a Chief Executive Officer, Gary Siepser, who will commence his leadership of the Rockland Federation on Jan. 4.

Diane Sloyer, who served as Executive Director for more than seven years, leaves on Dec. 31 to serve as Director of Development, Campus Advancement at Hillel International.

Siepser has held executive positions at Federations across the U.S. and Canada for the past 25 years. Most recently he served as Chief Development Officer at the Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey and prior to that role, Siepser was the Director of Donor Development at UJA Federation of New York.

Some of Seipser’s specific accomplishments in the Jewish philanthropic sector include launching successful annual campaigns from $3 to $10 million, stewarding major gift donors and securing capital gifts in excess of $1 million.

According to Andrea Weinberger, President of the Jewish Federation of Rockland, “Gary’s lifelong Federation career gives him the perfect blend of experiences to take our Federation to the next level. He has a track record of success in driving growth and revenue and we’re confident he will help us build our community.”

Siepser, who will report to Weinberger, can be reached after January 4 at the Rockland Federation offices at 845-362-4200, ext. 133.
