Help Fight Childhood Cancer: Buy Lemonade Sunday on Route 303

The Northern New York Korean Seventh Day Adventist Church will run an Alex's Lemonade Stand in Blauvelt.

BLAUVELT, NY — In an effort to raise funds and awareness for the fight against childhood cancer, the Northern New York Korean Seventh Day Adventist Church will host an Alex’s Lemonade Stand on Sunday, starting at 10 a.m. The proceeds from NNYKSDA’s lemonade stand will benefit childhood cancer research through Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.

NNYKSDA member Jira Jeong wanted to teach the children of the Church about community service and giving back, so they decided to host an Alex’s Lemonade Stand. They hope to raise $400 in their first ever stand, which funds about a day of childhood cancer research.
