Holiday Toy Drive at LIU Hudson's Rockland Campus

For the 3rd consecutive year, the Counseling Honor Society at LIU Hudson at Rockland is sponsoring the Holiday Angel Tree in collaboration with the Salvation Army. LIU Hudson at Rockland graduate students, faculty and staff along with friends of the campus select individual tags hanging on the campus tree. Each tag has the name and age of a local underprivileged child. On the tag, the child’s first name along with the child’s gender, clothing size and toy requests are printed.. LIU Hudson at Rockland community members, purchase the requested gifts for that child and bring them to campus. The gifts will be picked up by the Salvation Army on December 11th and delivered to local families in time for Christmas. After just a week,193 tags have already been picked up. The drive ends on December 10th.
