Orangetown and Rockland county detectives are investigating
Orangetown police were called to a house on Holt Drive Nov. 20 after the resident reported a burglary had taken place.
He told police he had returned home to find several thousand dollars of jewelry and a safe containing a semi-automatic pistol had been taken. He said the burglar had entered through an unlocked second-story window.
Orangetown police detectives and the Rockland County Bureau of Criminal Investigation responded to the scene.
