Hudson Valley Filmmaker Seeks 9/11 Eyewitnesses
The filmmaker is looking for people he interviewed the morning of Sept. 11, 2001, at Fifth Avenue and 21st Street in the city.

PEARL RIVER, NY — A Rockland County television production company is working on a documentary about the terrorist attacks the morning of Sept. 11, 2001, and is seeking the public's help in finding people who were watching the events of that day unfold from Fifth Avenue and 21st Street in Manhattan.
West Nyack resident Patrick Heaphy, the founder, producer and creative director of LCM 247, was working in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood on 9/11 and took to the street with a video camera to interview his fellow New Yorkers as they all watched the horror unfolding blocks away.
Heaphy and his production team are trying to find the people he interviewed that morning for a documentary he is directing on the lasting impact of the attacks, the enduring spirit of New Yorkers and what it all means for the global conversation on terrorism.

According to a press release, the documentary "9/11+20" will reveal in real time how New Yorkers struggled to make sense of the panic, confusion, fear and evil that gripped their city as they watched the World Trade Center burn, then collapse.
LCM is using social media to find people who were interviewed, and so far, two women have been located, according to information from the company.
