Live Lobsters and Salmon Sushi Among Alleged Shoplifted Items
Orangetown police charged a New Jersey woman with petty larceny.
A New Jersey woman is due in Orangetown Court April 8 to answer a charge of petty larceny, a misdemeanor, in connection with an incident March 27.
Orangetown police were called to the Pearl River Shop Rite at about 3:40 p.m. by store staff who said they had stopped a woman leaving without paying for groceries.
Jamie-Leigh Loreng, 28 of Montvale, is accused of packing three live lobsters, a package of salmon fillets and a package of salmon sushi into a yellow Shop Rite grocery bag and leaving without paying.

The items were worth $90.62, police said.
She was released on $200.00 bail.
