Morgano, PRSD Board Members Swear In
Pearl River Superintendent of Schools Dr. John Morgano swore in (for the second time) along with members of the board of education and District Clerk Mary Flanagan at the Pearl River School District's annual reorganization meeting Wednesday.
Dr. John Morgano took his oath as the Pearl River School District superintendent of schools Wednesday -- for the second time.
Morgano swore in July 1, his official first day, then did it again as part of the district's annual reorganization meeting Wednesday evening in Pirate Cove.
Board member Thomas DePrisco, who was elected to his second term in May, also took the oath, as did District Clerk Mary Flanagan.

The board voted to approve President Michael Clohessy and Vice President Rob Davis to remain in those positions for another one-year term.
The only addition to table where the board of education and administration sits for regular meetings is Sue Wheeler, now the district's assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction, moving up from director of curriculum. Morgano took a moment to welcome her and said that the district was lucky to have her to take over the newly-created position.
