Ninth East Ramapo Protest

Get Up, Stand Up: East Ramapo had its ninth protest of the summer outside the home of board member Yakov Engel, in Monsey.

Eric Grossfeld, the group’s co-founder, called on Engel, a newly elected board member, to “Do the right thing: do not let the status quo continue. Do not follow in the footsteps of your colleagues and their predecessors. You have a chance to start righting the wrongs this board has done. Will you?”

The group called on the state-appointed monitoring team to conduct a forensic audit into the district’s finances and past actions.
