No Pearl River Farmers Market this Summer

The Pearl River Chamber of Commerce is planning a monthly community event instead of a third Farmers Market season.

"These events would occur on the first Friday of the month from 3:00-7:00 pm and include: farms, vendors, local Pearl River businesses and entertainment," organizers said in an email.

The Chamber is in the process of forming a committee that will meet to discuss the details--let them know if you'd like to be on it. "First Friday" is in the beginning planning stages and might not start until late summer/early fall in the Central Avenue Field in Pearl River.

"A special thank you to The River for hosting and sponsoring the market for the past two seasons," they said. "We appreciate the wonderful support from The River community. Thank you to Sarah Binkele and Tracy Nelson, Market co-directors, who gave so much of their time to help the community. We look forward to working together again."
