Nominate Your New York Hero

ROCKLAND COUNTY, NY — Worldwide Community First Responder will be giving out a new award at its annual gala in October — for true New York heroes. And there's one day left to nominate someone you think deserves this accolade.

"This will be a our very first time giving the New York Hero award," said WCFR founder and leader Jackie Cassagnol, RN, MSN, PMC.

AWARD REQUIREMENTS:
1. Nominees must reside, work or be active in the state of New York.
2. The act of courage or humanitarian service can be ongoing OR have occurred any time after January 1, 2017.
3. Award winner must be willing to attend the WCFR Seventh Anniversary & Fundraising Gala on October 6th, 2018 in Nyack, NY. In addition, winners must be willing to participate in interviews and photographs for media and promotional reasons.
4. Entries must be submitted by July 31, 2018.
