Storm Transportation Update: Trains Still Suspended Sunday Morning

Check here for updates on transportation conditions after the snowstorm.

Metro-North reports that service remains suspended on Metro-North Railroad, the Long Island Rail Road, and the above ground portions of the NYC Subway and Staten Island Railway.

Crews have been out across the system overnight working to assess conditions and clear signals, switches and rails of snow. Snow fighting equipment has been deployed across the MTA rail and subway network to perform heavy duty removal. That work continues this morning. Service will be restored as conditions warrant throughout the day.
