O&R Contributes To Support Coats For North Rockland Rotary Project

Rotary Club of North Rockland will provide new winter coats for children from low income households in North Rockland.

From O&R: O&R has contributed $1,270 to support Coats for Kids, a Rotary Club of North Rockland project to provide new winter coats for children from low income households in North Rockland.

The project aims to protect children’s health during the cold winter months, enhance self-esteem, and promote school attendance. Rotarians work with school social workers to purchase and distribute coats to boys and girls in North Rockland elementary schools during the 2016 holiday season. About 80 -100 coats will be purchased for distribution. O&R’s contribution will cover the cost of about 65 coats.
