Orangetown Police Seek Public's Help Over Parking Lot Arson
Two people set a car on fire in January and Orangetown police seek help to identify them.

ORANGETOWN, NY — Orangetown police are trying to identify two suspects involved in an arson in January.
The incident occurred on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2019 in a parking lot behind Dominican College, near the Rail Trail section closest to Mountainview Avenue. At about 7:30 pm, two people parked an SUV in the Faculty Parking Lot, walked across the Rail Trail and the Aluf Plastics access road, then set a vehicle on fire.
Video obtained shows several cars in the area at the time of the incident. The one suspect pictured above, is wearing dark colored sweat pants with a white stripe down the side, white sneakers, a hoodie, and/or a jacket with unknown writing on the back.
