Orangetown Zoning Board Of Appeals To Hold Public Hearing Wednesday

PEARL RIVER, NY — As the new year begins, our local officials are still busy conducting the public's business in plain sight.

There are plenty of upcoming chances to help tend to our democracy close to the roots. Several public meetings are scheduled for this week that affect Pearl River.

The Orangetown Zoning Board of Appeals meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Greenbush Auditorium. On the agenda: public hearings about two applications from Blauvelt, one for an addition to a single-family house at 86 Yale Terrace and the other for an addition to a single-family house at 73 Harding Street.

The Architectural Review Board meeting scheduled for Thursday has been canceled.
