O&R's Brizzolara Named to STAC President's Council
Long-time Orange and Rockland Utilities, Inc. employee Thomas L. Brizzolara named to St. Thomas of Aquinas College President's Council.

Long-time Orange and Rockland Utilities, Inc. employee Thomas Brizzolara will join the St. Thomas of Aquinas College President's Council Sept. 1 of this year.
The Nyack native and Tappan Zee High School alumn graduated from STAC magna cum laude in 1978 and is a former president of the college's alumni association. He was inducted into the STAC Alumni Hall of Fame in 2005. His appointment to the president's council is for a three-year term.
"The important work which is done by the college requires the support of many friends in our external community," said STAC President Dr. Margaret M. Fitzpatrick. "We look to the president's council to provide sage counsel and thoughtful leadership in helping st. Thomas Aquinas College to fulfill its educational mission and to assist us in the integral task of securing the resources necessary for continued success."

Brizzolara, 55, is currently director of public affairs for Orange and Rockland and Consolidated Edison Company of New York's Westchester County service area. His primary focus is corporate leadership in the communities O&R serves. He is also a member of O&R's Corporate Policy Committee, a group of executives who set policy for the company. Brizzolara has held both jobs since 2007 and worked for O&R since 1979
Brizzolara is a two-time past president and current member of the South ORangetown Rotary Club and was a founding member of Keep Rockland Beautiful. He has also volunteered with United Way of Rockland for 30 years and serves on the board of the James F. McGuire Senior Center in Northvale, NJ.
