Pearl River seniors Christa Scognamiglio and Nicole Grossbard made their college choices a while ago. They will both make it official 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in the high school gym at a letter-of-intent signing. Scognamiglio, a two-time all-state selection, will sign with Division I Fairfield. Grossbard will sign with Division II So. Connecticut State, which kept its offer on the table even after the senior point guard suffered a knee injury this summer that will keep her from playing her senior season at Pearl River.

The fair features over three hundred exhibitors, from four states with arts, crafts, new retail, home décor, and unique gifts set up in tents lining Main, Broadway and Cedar Streets. For the foodie’s festival foods of all kinds will be available including food trucks. Music will be located at the Gazebo on Main Street. Be sure to stop by the great restaurants and outdoor cafes with many offering fair specials. Nyack’s unique shops and boutiques are a must see.
