The Pearl River School District's tax levy increase for 2011-12 is 2.75 percent. The district estimated the actual tax rate increase at 2.43 percent at the time of the vote, but that was without the savings from the changes in bus service to the high school, which also passed along with the budget in May.

Also of note in the district, the events calender for the 2011-12 school year has been completed and is available on the district's website here. Copies will be mailed out this month.
