Pearl River Domestic Dispute Turns Violent: Police
A woman needed medical attention and a New Jersey man was charged with assault, police said.
Steven N. Markowitz of Teaneck, NJ, faces a charge of assault, a misdemeanor.
Orangetown police were called to a domestic dispute March 12 in Pearl River. They allege that Markowitz punched a woman in the face with a closed fist, causing an injury that required medical attention.
He is due in Orangetown Justice Court April 11.
