The community voted on several local positions.

PEARL RIVER, NY — Residents hit the polls and voted for various local positions. In the race for Orangetown Town Supervisor, Chris Day apparently pulled a narrow victory over Thom Kleiner, who had had a narrow early lead.
Here are unofficial results from the Rockland County Board of Elections, not including absentee ballots.

- Maureen A. Porette - 45.51 percent
- Thomas F. Sullivan - 2.11 percent
Rockland Surrogate Court Judge
- Alden H. Wolfe - 7.69 percent
- Keith J. Cornell - 47.47 percent
- Michael A. Koplen - 44.79 percent
Rockland County Clerk - Paul Piperato was unopposed.
Nyack
Nyack Village Mayor - Donald N. Hammond was unopposed.
Village of Nyack trustee - Elijah A. Reichlin-Melnick and Marie T. Lorenzini were unopposed.
Orangetown
Orangetown superintendent of highways - James J. Dean was unopposed.
Orangetown supervisor
- Chris Day - 50.61 percent
- Thom Kleiner - 49.38 percent
Orangetown town clerk - Charlotte E. Madigan was unopposed.
Orangetown Town Council (2)
- Allan W. Ryff - 22.88 percent
- Denis M. Troy - 27.16 percent
- Heather M. Hurley - 24.68 percent
- Thomas F. Diviny - 25.23 percent
Orangetown Town Justice - Richard C. Finning was unopposed
Piermont - officials were unopposed.
