Pearl River Family Looking For Dog Missing Since Fire

If spotted, people are asked not to approach or call the dog's name, because he may run away.

PEARL RIVER, NY — A family in Pearl River is still looking for their dog who has been missing since their home was destroyed in a fire Jan. 8. The family believes Barrett, a 6-1/2-year-old American bullmastiff escaped the blaze at their home located at 314 Orangeburg Road.

John Loughran and his family plan to rebuild their home and want to have Barrett with them, lohud.com said.

Barrett is brown, weighs 120 to 130 pounds and has a brown collar. He may be spooked if approached or if his name is called.
