Pearl River Golf Beats Albertus Magnus

The Pearl River boys golf team matched its victory total for the entire 2010 season, improving to 3-0 this year with a 212-227 victory over Albertus Magnus Monday at Blue Hill Golf Course.

Kyle Sullivan of Albertus Magnus shot the low score of the day with a four-over-par 40, but Pearl River had the next four loweest scores from Shane Kennedy (41), Brian McGarvey (42), Niall O'Connor (42) and Dylan Faller (43) and a tie for the best after that.

Albertus Magnus fell to 1-3 in a match that was a make-up from last week's rainout.

Pearl River will play Tappan Zee 4:30 p.m. today at Blue Hill.
