Pearl River High School Holds International Night

Pearl River High School held its second annual International Night last week.

Pearl River High School's International Club, with club advisors Beth Kurzawa and Caitlin Rosa, hosted and organized the 2nd Annual International Night last week.

The evening included a dinner with ethnic food from around the world for the faculty and the club members' families and peers. The students wore traditional clothing from various countries. They made posters representing regions their dishes came from.

"One of the most special parts of the evening was witnessing the pride parents took in helping to make and present the dishes of their heritage," Kurzawa said. "It's always a pleasure whene we hear music. An Irish band performed for the crowd, as they did last year."
